Exion RF Microneedling Procedure
Most Exion RF Microneedling treatments take about 30 to 45 minutes, and a topical numbing cream may be applied if necessary. Once you are comfortable, your aesthetic provider will steadily glide the device in a single pass over the treatment area. For the Exion combination RF plus Targeted Ultrasound, treatments involve application of soft clear gel over the treatment area with a gliding applicator passed over this gel repeatedly while monitoring the treatment on the screen. For this treatment, you will feel a warm/heat sensation on the area being treated since the radiofrequency plus ultrasound work by raising the skin tissue temperature by a few degrees. This is normal and will be monitored to achieve the desired targets of treatments.

Most patients do not consider the treatment as painful, with many stating it is associated with much less discomfort compared to other microneedling treatments. Topical anesthetic can also be used for maximum comfort.
