Her clinical foundation is both broad and rigorous. Fatia’s background includes colorectal surgery at Texas Tech, sleep medicine, primary care, adult preventive health, outpatient surgical environments, and two years at Lubbock’s COVID hospital, where she helped care for more than 40,000 patients.

She has advanced her specialization through extensive training at leading institutions, including the National Laser Institute and Empire Medical Training. Her certifications cover an extensive array of aesthetic and regenerative procedures including neuromodulators and dermal fillers, biostimulators, advanced laser therapies, anti-aging interventions, medical weight management, and female rejuvenation and wellness optimization, enabling her to deliver safe, transformative results with clinical precision and artistry.

Fatia also has expertise and performs minimally invasive subcutaneous radio-frequency and aspiration fat reduction and skin tightening procedures under local anesthesia.

What truly distinguishes Fatia is her dual role as expert clinician and educator. She serves as a trainer with the National Laser Institute, providing hands-on instruction to aspiring injectors and elevating professional standards across the field. At Glo & Spa-rkle she mentors colleagues daily, ensuring every treatment meets the highest benchmarks of safety and personalization. Equally committed to public empowerment, she produces regular educational videos at the practice’s YouTube channel, @gloandsparkle, that equip patients and the community with clear, accurate knowledge about aesthetic and wellness treatments in a rapidly evolving era—demystifying procedures, outlining benefits and considerations, and supporting informed decision-making for long-term health and confidence.

Deeply invested in Lubbock, Fatia has been an active member of the Junior League for five years. She was Assistant Chair of SPARK, mentoring inner-city eighth-grade girls, and previously coordinated Touch a Truck—the largest free family event of its kind. She volunteers with Food2Kids teaching healthy cooking, has supported Habitat for Humanity home builds for three years, and contributes to Lubbock Impact, Paul’s Project, and free healthcare events. Since 2021 she and her practice have been engaged with the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals; she serves on the Chamber’s Ambassador Committee. With more than 30 years in pageantry, she has judged Miss Lubbock, Miss Teen Lubbock, and Miss West Texas. As a woman of color and business owner, she strives to be a visible role model for other women, the African American community, and those entering healthcare and aesthetics.

At home, Fatia is a wife and mother to a young family. Her passion is leading with purpose—empowering patients, developing talent, and strengthening Lubbock. Her mission is to deliver exceptional care, cultivate the next generation of professionals, and invest in the community. Her vision is to expand ethical aesthetic medicine across West Texas so that both her patients and Lubbock thrive.
