Chemical Peels

treat age spots, acne, sun-damage and fine lines

Beautiful skin begins with a fresh start. At Glo & Spa-rkle Med Spa, our expertly curated chemical peels offer a rejuvenating, results-driven approach to address a wide range of skin concerns—from fine lines and age spots to acne and sun damage. Using the Jan Marini, PCA, and ZO by Obagi chemical peels that are designed to be versatile and effective, each peel works to gently resurface and refresh the skin on your face, neck, or décolleté with little to no downtime.

We recommend a series of peels for optimal results, each carefully customized to your unique skin type and goals. Many clients also love pairing a peel with our Oxygeneo Facial, which we suggest one week before or after treatment for a radiant, long-lasting glow. Many patients also combine their chemical peel treatment with dermaplaning for more in-depth rejuvenation. Unlike traditional facials or micro-dermabrasion, our chemical peels go deeper, delivering rejuvenation you can see and feel from the first session. Make chemical peels part of your regular skincare regimen, and let your skin reveal its brightest, smoothest, most even-toned self.

What are Chemical Peels?

Think of a chemical peel as a reboot for your skin. This treatment works by gently exfoliating the skin’s surface with a carefully crafted solution, removing dead cells to reveal a brighter, fresher layer beneath. Each peel is personalized, using medical-grade ingredients suited to your skin’s specific needs, whether you’re looking to soften fine lines, brighten uneven tone, or reduce blemishes. With various peel strengths—light, medium, and deep—we’re able to create a regimen tailored precisely for you.

Types of Chemical Peels

Refine
Peel

The Refine chemical peel brightens the skin and addresses skin texture issues such as mild acne, mild sun damage and age spots, and fine lines and wrinkles. The peel consists of lactic acid, citric acid, and salicylic acid. The peel can be done as an individual treatment or in a series of peels, about 3-4 weeks apart, for a more dramatic result. This chemical peel is effective for all skin types.

Transform Peel

The Transform peel is for more serious acne, pigmentation, lines and wrinkles, photo-damage, and overall skin rejuvenation. It contains lactic acid, salicylic acid, mandelic, and resorcinol. These acids work to clear follicles for maximum results. The peel can be done as an individual treatment or in a series of chemical peels, about 4 weeks apart, for a more dramatic result. Some individuals with darker skin may not be good candidates; the Clarify Peel may be a better option.

Clarify
Peel

The Clarify chemical peel is also for acne, acne scarring, and oily skin but will also address lines and wrinkles, and pigmentation. It consists of salicylic and mandelic acids that help clear follicles and scars. For acne, it can be done every 2 weeks for a series of 3-6 treatments. For other concerns, you will do a series of 3 treatments that are about 3-4 weeks apart. This peel is effective for all skin types.

Sensi
Peel

The Sensi Peel is designed for sensitive skin, providing a gentle exfoliation that improves overall skin tone and texture. This peel contains a combination of lactic acid and trichloroacetic acid (TCA) to reduce redness, calm inflammation, and address minor sun damage and discoloration. It is safe for all skin types, including those with rosacea, and can be performed every 3-4 weeks for optimal results.

NoPeel
Peel

The NoPeel Peel is perfect for those looking to refresh their skin without visible peeling or downtime. Formulated with a blend of mandelic acid and gluconolactone, this treatment gently exfoliates while hydrating the skin. Ideal for a quick glow, it is suitable for all skin types and can be performed as often as needed.

Acne
Peel Plus

This peel targets active acne and acne scars with a blend of salicylic acid, mandelic acid, and niacinamide. It helps to clear clogged pores, reduce oil production, and improve skin texture. Acne Peel Plus can be done every 2-3 weeks as part of a series for best results.

Pigment Correct
Peel

The Pigment Correct Peel works to brighten skin tone and reduce hyperpigmentation caused by sun damage, melasma, or acne scars. It features a combination of lactic acid, citric acid, and resorcinol. Suitable for most skin types, it can be done every 3-4 weeks in a series of treatments.

Ultra
Peel

Designed for mature or dry skin, the Ultra Peel improves fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven texture while providing deep hydration. It combines TCA, lactic acid, and retinol for a rejuvenated complexion. This peel is ideal for a series of treatments spaced 4 weeks apart.

MD
Peel

The MD Peel is the most intensive PCA peel, targeting severe discoloration, deep wrinkles, and stubborn acne scars. This peel uses higher concentrations of TCA and other advanced ingredients for dramatic skin rejuvenation. It may require more downtime and should only be performed by a qualified professional.

Stimulator
Peel

The Stimulator Peel, often called the "Red Carpet Peel," delivers instant glow and rejuvenation with no downtime. It combines glycolic acid, citric acid, and lactic acid to exfoliate dead skin cells and improve skin tone and texture. Suitable for all skin types, this peel can be performed weekly or as needed for a radiant complexion.

3-Step
Peel

The 3-Step Peel is a powerful treatment designed for deeper skin rejuvenation, addressing acne, fine lines, pigmentation, and texture irregularities. The process includes an in-office peel with TCA, salicylic acid, and lactic acid, followed by an at-home treatment with retinol and calming agents. This peel requires 2-3 days of downtime and is ideal for those seeking dramatic improvements in skin health.
