Following your customized consultation and prior to your treatment, a skin patch test will be conducted in a small inconspicuous area of your skin in order to determine how your skin will respond to the subsequent full treatment.
After the text patch is done, there is a waiting period (ranging from as little as 15 minutes to sometimes 72 hours, depending on the skin type) to assess the skin response. After the skin patch test result, you will then proceed with the full Stellar M22 skin treatment, which may range from 30-90 minutes, depending on the treatment and indication.
What toExpect
Stellar M22 skin treatments are quick and well tolerated with minimal to no downtime. In the first week or two after treatment, our Lubbock M22 Laser patients may experience treatment side effects, including mild redness, mild swelling, dryness, and itching, but these resolve completely. Patients are strongly encouraged to follow post-treatment instructions for faster recovery and the best results.
